Hello friends!
We know, we know, it’s been quite a while since we did any writing on here (hey, the pictures are awesome, right?), but we wanted to make an appearance to talk a little bit about the amazing series of webisodes that Inside My Kitchen recently released about us on their YouTube Channel!
Before anything else is said, check out the five videos in the series (because they’re pretty wonderful, if we do say so ourselves):

If you haven’t already heard, COOLHAUS has been nominated in the 2012 Vendy Awards Best Dessert category! To celebrate this milestone, we’ve enlisted the help of our friends at Bushmills Irish Whiskey to come up with a special menu that involves putting a boozy twist on a COOLHAUS classic. This is a competition after all so we can’t reveal all the tricks up our sleeves, but for sneak peeks as to what our menu will be, follow @COOLHAUS @CoolhausNY @BushmillsUSA all week on Twitter for exclusive behind-the-scene footage as we prep for the big day!
Tickets for the 2012 Vendy Awards are on sale now. Purchase yours and be the first to try our new exclusive Bushmills ice cream!

She was in architecture school at UC Berkley, and took this critique to heart. “He tells me this, and I’m thinking, why would he say that negatively? Layer cakes are awesome.” So, for her second model, Natasha — now the cofounder of an ice cream sandwich truck called Coolhaus — constructed it from cake batter instead of cardboard. Everyone was transfixed during her class presentation. Then came the lightbulb moment: With food, getting people to pay attention is, truly, a piece of cake.
